Dancing Spring
A recommendable "puzzle" box with relatively weak base sets but great high hits and very strong PR-cards.
1. card quality
The Quality meets GS standard. Puzzle pieces are a bit thicker but still maintain high quality.
3. pull ratio
Next to the SSR and UR one can expect 2 high hits in a box. They can have one of four different rarity levels while SP resebles the lowest of the four. There is no garantie to get anything higher than SP. There are also 4 Puzzle pieces in each box. That is a very good ratio because it will mathematically give you enough pieces with only 2,25 boxes to complete one. There are a total of 3 puzzles with 9 pieces each. Each box also comes with a PR card inside. They belong to a over 20 cards strong set and they look amazing. Dancing Spring has been put very well together. Each box will bring your collection a good step foreward.
2. Nuancen für Seltenheitsstufen
All sets seperate well from each other and follow a certain design. On the one hand feels a bit as if this box saves a bit on the 2 base sets. On the other it feels as if the saved energy went to the puzzles, the high hits and the PRs. Here they work with as much types of effects as GS does. SP for example uses only minimal small foilings to enhance just small pieces like jewelery, hairpins aso. This makes them look very noble and elegant. Puzzle pieces are a tad thicker but also high quality. All in all there has been set the focus on enhancing the different rarities and securing a quality.
4. Foiling Qualität
Das Basisset SSR hat einen Quadratischen Effekt. Qualitätstechnisch in Ordnung aber nicht weiter besonders, auch wenn dieses spezielle Holofoiling eher unbekannt ist. Das UR Set besitzt An einigen Stellen ein Metallic-Rainbow Foiling was die Karten eher dunkel wirken lässt und gutes Licht erfordert um den gewünschten Effekt zu triggern. Bei allen anderen Karten lässt sich absolut nichts negatives sagen. Es werden viele verschiedene Foilings kombiniert ohne zu übertreiben. Und das gelingt bei allen Typen die über UR hinaus gehen.
5. Die Rückseite
Alle Standardkarten haben das gleiche Design und sind nach Seltenheit farbkodiert. Weder Texturen noch sonst welche Spielereien gibt es hier. Einzig die PR Karten haben eine durchaus ansehnliche Rückseite mit viel Text und Artworks die Urlaubsatmosphäre versprühen.
6. Bildqualität
Die Qualität der Drucke ist vor allem bei den UR Karten nicht so toll. Das mag aber am Foiling liegen. Auch die Motivwahl ist bei den unteren Seltenheitsstufen generell eher soso. Alle High hits dagegen sind Ausgezeichnet gelungen. Sowohl von der Motivwahl als auch vom Veredeln mit Foilings und Stempeln.
Fazit:
Eine sehr empfehlenswerte Box. Es gibt generell keine Boxen wo man rein rechnerisch schon nach 2,25 Boxen genug Teile hat um ein Puzzle fertig zu bekommen. Dazu kommen noch die sehr edlen High Hits und die außergewöhnlich starken PRs. Das Zugverhältnis ist ausgewogen. Diese Punkte wirken für mich so stark, das ich der Box volle Punkte gebe, trotz der relativ schwachen Basis Sets.
